The Michigan Armed Forces Hospitality Center AKA The Michigan Freedom Center provides a safe, welcoming, and compassionate place of rest for our active-duty military, veterans, reserves and NATO service members and their families traveling through Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s McNamara and Evans Terminals. Our 2 quiet comfortable lounges, provide complimentary snacks and beverages, travel support, and the heartfelt hospitality serve 8,000 visitors per month and serviced over 1.2 million visitors since opening on November 11, 2011.
