Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
In the military, I learned how to handle tough situations, work with others, and care about details. The most difficult time was when I became a POW in Russia for a short while, after an aircraft accident. When running a small business, there can be a lot of stress; therefore, there is a need for teamwork, and attention must be paid to detail. My ten years in the Navy was a tremendous learning experience.
