Forward Law LLC is a boutique law firm serving clients throughout South Carolina and North Carolina. Founded by Greenville native and Navy veteran Charlie Carpenter, the firm provides practical, responsive counsel to individuals, families, and businesses across the Carolinas.

Charlie Carpenter is the founder of Forward Law. A Greenville native licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina, he holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina, where he played football for the Gamecocks from 2002 to 2006.

Before practicing law, Charlie served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. He understands what military families face in a move, a purchase, or a plan for what comes next — and he answers his own phone.
