Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
The military helped me gain confidence in myself and my abilities, and taught me that you can overcome a lot of obstacles in your life. It teaches you to persevere until you succeed at what you're doing. It taught me how to follow orders, which makes you a better leader. You have to be able to follow before you can lead. And from a practical standpoint, it also gave me over 50 weeks of 8-hour-a-day training in electronics and calibration, which is the business I own to this day.
