I’m Nick Anderson and the lead designer for Squadron Posters. I grew up in Troutdale, Oregon where I first learned to fly single engine Cessna 175s in the Columbia Gorge. Currently, I fly one of the world’s largest tactical airlift aircraft, the C-17 Globemaster III. Flying all over the world has given me a unique perspective to create original artwork. I have been doing these art-deco style aviation posters for my friends for years and finally decided to open up a store. Each poster is created with infinite resolution vectors by overlapping hundreds of individual shapes to capture each squadron or unit’s unique mission, location, aircraft and patch. My father, Andy Anderson, a retired Master Sergeant who served for over 20 years with the U.S. Air Force (Oregon Air National Guard), is the Squadron Posters Business Manager. He also has over 27 years experience in the Graphics imaging industry with a fortune 500 company providing management, technical support and customer service.
